Doraikare (ドライカレー)

Japanese style dish – aromatic rice with chicken, vegetables and curry spices, prepared without liquid sauce.
Ingredients
- 200 g rice
- 100 g chicken fillet
- 100 g onion
- 2 pcs green pepper
- 1 tbsp raisin
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 2 tsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
Steps

Cut the chicken fillet into ~1 cm cubes, season with salt and pepper. Dice the onion and green pepper into ~5 mm cubes. Rinse the raisins and drain them in a colander.

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a preheated pan, sauté the chicken until cooked through. Add the onion and pepper, fry until translucent. Sprinkle with curry powder, add ketchup, and stir. Add the remaining oil, turn off the heat, add the cooked rice, break up any clumps and mix thoroughly. Return the heat and fry everything together over medium heat.

Stir in the raisins, add 0.5 tsp salt, pour 1 tsp soy sauce around the edge of the pan, and mix until the flavors are absorbed.
