Gyeranjjim (계란찜)

A Korean creamy egg pudding — a delicate appetizer served hot. It can be prepared on the stove, in a steamer, or in the microwave, adding aromatic ingredients to taste.
Ingredients
- 4-5 pcs egg
- 240 ml broth
- to taste salted shrimp
- 2 tablespoon green onion
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 0.5 teaspoon sesame seeds
Steps

In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a fork or spoon until smooth.

Pass the egg mixture through a sieve to remove any lumps.

Combine the beaten eggs with the broth and add the chosen flavoring — salted shrimp. Mix well.

Lightly grease the inner surface of the pot with half a teaspoon of sesame oil.

Pour the egg mixture into the prepared vessel, cover with a lid, and cook over low‑medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5–7 minutes.

Two to three minutes before finishing, add the sliced green onion and stir.

If desired, drizzle the finished dish with the remaining sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
