Spicy Korean cucumber salad with a light sweetness and tanginess. Quickly prepared, refreshing and perfect as a side dish for main courses.
Ingredients
- 1 piece cucumber
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp Korean red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp green onion
- 0.5 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 0.5 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Steps

Thinly slice the cucumber, mix it with salt and let it sit for about 15 minutes so it releases its juice.

Drain the excess liquid without squeezing the cucumbers so they don't get damaged.

In a large bowl thoroughly mix the cucumbers with all remaining ingredients. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
